That wasn't the case for me personally.

2) In terms of EDS and PAOs--typically any surgery that cuts the bone (PAO, TTT, etc) works better and is more "reliable" and "straight forward." That's not to say that recovery goes off without a hitch but because the soft tissue isn't the main focus, the body does respond to the healing positively (at least it did for me). The biggest challenge will be the incision (which I know you struggle with) because it is an open procedure (and by open I mean usually 5-7 inches). Again, that's not to say complications don't happen (I had a few) and it is a VERY big surgery

Obviously you aren't looking to have this done anytime soon...but figured before this post gets pushed down with other posts I'd add those 2 points in there...of course text me with any other questions and I will be glad to give you details of both recoveries (which were oddly very different)
JMURPHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03347888049304354903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5556096156358734846.post-33310097482122002922012-08-21T23:31:18.313-05:002012-08-21T23:31:18.313-05:00Hi madeline

Diving in the water or throwing a ball kind of hard or sometimes I wolud wake up in the night with my arms over my head and my shoulder would be out. All I could do was pull it down and pop it back in which was very painful. I went on living with it for several years poping it out about once a week or so until I bcame so awear of it that I was careful not to pop it out. After I made it about a year and a half without poping it out of place the ligaments/tendons tightened themselves up and it just quit poping out. Im still careful with it just out of habit but I haven't had it go out now for a long time. This is probably a whole different thing than what your looking at but the point is if you can keep from re injuring it for 1 to 2 years it will most likely heal itself. My arm is now just as strong as the other. Thought my story might at least be interesting, good luckAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5556096156358734846.post-62805281930291350592011-11-30T14:01:53.849-06:002011-11-30T14:01:53.849-06:00Interesting post, thanks for sharing.Interesting post, thanks for sharing.physical therapy documentationhttp://www.systems4pt.com/documentationnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5556096156358734846.post-16060996411473532002011-10-24T04:08:48.929-05:002011-10-24T04:08:48.929-05:00i think it's brave to have plastic surgery.
